Why does a business exist in the first place? To me, it's just pure common sense - 'The Business Exists for the Customer.'
You should care about your customer more than yourself. Shouldn't that be rule no. 1 for any business to provide good service?
It's all about them, not you.
But even well-meaning companies accidentally get trapped in 'Survival Mode.'
A business is started to solve a problem.
But if the problem does not exist anymore, that business would no longer be needed.
It's kind of like a movie where the hero needs to die to save the day. Your company should be willing to die for your customers.
That's the Tao of Business for me: Care about your customers more than yourself, and coincidentally, you will do well.
