1. Introduction: From Confusion to Clarity (Revised NBA SAR 2025)
Let’s be real.
The biggest question most institutions ask is:
“Where do we start?”
You’ve read the new SAR.
You’ve seen the changes in curriculum, PO-WK mapping, SDGs, industry connect, CO-PO attainment…
But execution? That’s where most get stuck.
This part will guide you through exactly what to do, in what order, and what not to waste time on.
No fluff. No fear. Just focused steps.
And if you’re joining late—read Part 1 to Part 7 first.
They’ll set the mindset.
This part gives you the roadmap.
2. Step 1: Internal Readiness Audit
Before you apply, look within.
– Are your POs updated to the revised format?
– Has curriculum mapping to WKs been done?
– Is there a documented process for CO–PO attainment?
Action: Create a 5-day Internal SAR Readiness Review with one SPOC per criterion.
Each SPOC submits:
Evidence status
Gaps
Timeline for fixes
3. Step 2: Academic Restructuring
Outcome-Based Education is non-negotiable now.
– Revise syllabus with WK mapping
– Update lesson plans
– Align assessments with COs and cognitive levels
– Revise project rubrics to include SDGs & ethics
Action: Use templates from my book to quickly standardize across departments.
4. Step 3: Documentation Calendar
Don’t collect files two weeks before the visit.
NBA now evaluates continuity and consistency.
Action:
Create a Documentation Timeline across the academic year for:
CO–PO mapping updates
Industry interaction logs
FDP reports
Capstone evidence
SDG activity logs
Assign department-wise SPOCs.
5. Step 4: Faculty Preparation
The Peer Team will interact with your faculty.
What they say must match what your SAR claims.
Action: Conduct Faculty SAR Mock Interviews:
Ask them to explain CO–PO mapping
Ask how their subject links to SDGs or WKs
Ask what innovations they made this year
Train, don’t just instruct.
6. Step 5: Student Orientation
If your students say,
“NBA? What’s that?”
You’re in trouble.
Action: Hold Outcome Awareness Sessions every semester.
Make sure students can explain:
What are POs and COs
How their projects are evaluated
How the syllabus prepares them for the real world
7. Step 6: Pre-Qualifier Submission & Mock SAR
Before applying officially:
Action:
Cross-check all pre-qualifier conditions
Prepare a dummy SAR with internal teams
Run a Mock Peer Visit with external experts (genuine ones, not agents)
This dry run will save you from panic later.
8. Step 7: Apply Only When Ready
Don't apply because your NAAC is over.
Don’t apply because the Dean wants it in his resume.
Apply when your system is ready,
your faculty is aligned,
and your data speaks for itself.
Final Tip:
Use the NBA portal carefully.
Mistakes in online entries have cost institutes dearly.
Final Thoughts: Build Systems, Not Shortcuts.
Accreditation isn’t an event.
It’s a reflection of what you do daily.
And the Revised NBA SAR 2025 doesn’t reward paperwork.
It rewards culture.
So if you’re building that culture—step by step—you’re already ahead.
