I have seen people talk a lot about various theories about making great products and managing projects in many ways.
But after making three products myself, which are currently used by lakhs of people I have realized that Project Management should be understood very simply as ground level execution.
Project Management is all about "getting things done" as best as possible and as quickly as possible. It is really that simple.
- There are no gimmicks or tricks.
- The underlying philosophy that supports Project or Product is good, old-fashioned team work and elbow grease.
- There are no secret mantras that your team needs to chant before starting the day.
- There are no special formulas to making things happen.
- All there is, is a solid foundation which enables your team to work under clear guidelines and rules.
- So, you are essentially taking the guesswork out of your project management approach.
What you are doing is enabling your people to make their own decisions based on their own sound judgment and understanding. 😃
